Fez and Morocco Handicraft

The Craft industry from  immemorial time was closely related to the Fez city history, where this sector constitutes the base of economic fabric, well more ; the traditional trades contributed to make Fez city in Morocco a pole of civilization and artistic. Therefore the classification of the Fez city by UNESCO as universal inheritance is by no means the fact of the chance, but must rather be regarded as a recognition on behalf of the international community of the value of its contributions to the universal inheritance in the field of authentic traditional arts; contributions to which testify the many monuments and architectural works which abound in the spiritual and cultural capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.
